Is the app free?

Yes — the whole creative loop is free: import photos, tune the look, generate the full mosaic, view it, and present it in Present Mode. Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks full-resolution watermark-free export, project bundles, art-style presets, background removal, and advanced controls.

How do I restore a purchase I already made?

Open the paywall (any Pro feature) or the project menu and choose Restore Purchases. Pro is tied to your Apple Account.

Where are my photos sent?

Nowhere. Photos and the mosaics you create are processed entirely on your device. See the privacy policy below.

How do I make my first mosaic?

On the start screen, click Try a Sample Mosaic to see a finished result in seconds, then add your own main photo and tile photos to make your own.

Can I print my mosaic?

Yes. Use Print Size to set a paper size and DPI, then export at full resolution with Pro.

Ansh Photo Mosaic ("the app") is developed by Metron. We designed the app to do its work entirely on your device. This policy explains what the app accesses and what — if anything — leaves your device.

The short version

We do not collect your data. Your photos and the mosaics you create are processed on your device and are not sent to us. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no user accounts.

What the app accesses, and why

• Your photos. When you choose a target photo and tile photos, the app reads them to build your mosaic. This happens on your device; the photos are not uploaded to us.
• Apple Music. If you choose to play an Apple Music playlist as the soundtrack in Present Mode, the app uses Apple's MusicKit to play it. We do not receive your music library or listening data.
• Photo location. If one of your tile photos contains GPS coordinates, the app may convert them into a place name (for example "Kyoto, Japan") to caption the photo in Present Mode. That conversion is performed by Apple's location services; the coordinates are not sent to us.
• Purchases. The optional one-time "Pro" unlock is handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment information.
• Settings. Your preferences are stored on your device using the system's standard settings storage.

Sharing a mosaic

If a future version of the app offers a feature to share a finished mosaic to the web, using that feature uploads the mosaic image you chose to share to our service so a link can be created. Only images you explicitly choose to share are uploaded, and only when you tap to share them. This policy will be updated with the details before any such feature is enabled.

Children

The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
